Winds flew from the side of my cheek, feeling like a soft cream; Far away stood a fervid woman, who captured me like a dream!
Photography is the only successful time machine that takes you back to your past. Memories make our lives more colourful with every emotion captured in a Polaroid, hanging by our walls. Photography has evolved more like a career than a hobby in past years. So many new levels of passion in a single capture and we will be talking about such another unique camera holder. MEERA RAJ, a visual photographer and an illustrator from a beautiful place in Ernakulam called Kodanad. Meera is a visual communication student pursuing a degree in design from UID, Gandhinagar.
Meera shared that, ” I would never know more about photography if that SOMEONE would not trust me and lend me the camera, so I try being that SOMEONE for others”. This young lady has explored her talents with people without any professional modelling backgrounds. Moving around a raw subject and capturing nature at its best candid, is what Meera enjoys rolling. This kind and curious eye for capturing make her audience/subject believe in her with utmost comfort. Meera very joyously mentioned that she had noticed and even has been approached by untrained/non-modelling background people, as they felt more comfortable to be shot by Meera.

Meera likes exploring new styles but has found her crush on genres like showcasing same-gender chemistry, psychedelics, and vintage captures. Many people who were introverts to come out and tell the world have been complimenting this surreal camera woman about her very real impact on their hearts by understanding and aesthetically portraying them. Listening to new stories full of love and venture makes meera put up the exact emotional pause that’s needed in the capture.
Meera continued her photography despite the pandemic, she started with virtual photography and explored new heights.
